Description

The second in this series of three, weekly, standalone, interactive presentations will cover how to use imagery, storytelling and rhyme to develop your songs.

By analysing classic & contemporary songs from The Beatles to Billie Eilish, Dylan to Stormzy,  you will learn the elements of what makes a great lyric and how to include them in your own writing.

The session is suitable for all songwriters, whether pure lyricists or composers.

Each week in the series is designed to be standalone. Two subsequent weeks will cover comprehensive techniques available to develop and polish those ideas into finished lyrics:

4/12/19 – Lyric Writing: Generating Ideas, Structure and The Big Idea!
18/12/19 – Lyric Writing: Enhancing your lyrics with Wordplay, Meter and Singability

There is more than enough information each week to be taken as a standalone session and the price is discounted by 15% to £17. However, sign up for all three sessions and the total is just £47:

4,11,18/12/19 – Lyric Writing: The Essential Guide! – 3-week course

Tea, coffee, water and other beverages will be provided free of charge. There are limited  places available so please book in advance.
