From 2015 to 2021 London Songwriters has hosted seventeen highly enjoyable and effective Songwriting Retreats for over 200 happy writers from across the UK, Europe, Asia, Australia and the USA. Each writer has rated the experience 5 out of 5, many return for multiple subsequent retreats.

‘The guidance in the morning was excellent – focused, just the right amount of info, really important learning. The exercises were inspiring and challenging.

“Thanks again for a great weekend of songwriting. I feel like I came away from it with a lot more theoretical knowledge & the ability to write a song in a shorter space of time.”

Whatever your experience, the benefits of attending the songwriting retreat are that you will:

  • immerse yourself in your writing without the distractions of everyday life
  • have a great time with like-minded people
  • increase the quantity and the quality of songs you write at the retreat and afterwards
  • increase your confidence as a songwriter
  • increase your songwriter connections and co-writing network
  • write at least one or two songs each day
  • get encouragement and valuable feedback on your current repertoire
  • learn and/or practise the essential songwriting ‘tools‘ and ‘rules‘ (and work out when you can break them)
