On 2nd January I said ‘What are your New Year songwriting resolutions? Mine are to release more of my finished tracks, to write better and better songs and to continue to support other writers.’ Same for 2022 I think!

Last year had its challenges but with your support we ran our monthly Lyric and Melody Writing Evening Courses, Online Retreats, Writing Days, 1-2-1 Mentoring & Song Feedback sessions.

I’m also happy to have finally found the focus to release my ‘Blue Dansette‘ project on London Songwriters Recordings.

Song Clinic
Saturday 8th January at 11am marks the return of our Song Clinic – Detailed Feedback On Your Original Songs sessions, back by popular demand as requested in your recent survey responses.

It consists of small group & professional feedback on one of your songs, submitted as a recording/lyric in advance. As well as constructive feedback on the Lyric, Melody & Harmony, we can also discuss Recording, Releasing & Marketing your music, as some of you have responded to my call last year to get your music out into the world. There are only 8 places.

WRITE GREAT MELODIES
Our unique WRITE GREAT MELODIES – 4 Week Evening Course begins 10th January at 7pm. Join us for four weekly interactive presentations with accompanying practical exercises on Mondays as follows:

17/01/22 – Scales of Emotion – Melodic Note Choices
24/01/22 – Chord Colours & Effective Progressions
31/01/22 – Supercharge your Melodies with Pitch & Prosody
